Job summary

Equifax is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Public Sector team. This remote role partners with other Public Sector Account Executives, the Strategic Partner Director, and a client engagement team to help develop and close new sales opportunities.

You will report to the Vice President of Public Sector Sales; the compensation includes a base salary with variable performance-based compensation, and a strong 40% incentive program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in field sales with 2+ years selling to state agencies.
• Existing agency relationships.
• Experience with government procurement and federal proposals.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with state government accounts.
• Develop account plans and grow pipeline.
• Lead cross-functional capture and proposal efforts.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners for pricing and legal solutions.
• Monitor competition and adapt strategies.
• Provide regular territory reports.
