Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VIPPS implementation for the VA OIT. You will translate business needs into future-state workflows for the OneStream platform and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and models.

This role is fully remote within the United States and follows standard business hours. Required are 7+ years in federal business analysis, BPMN proficiency, Agile practices, and budgeting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years of business analysis and process modeling experience in Federal programs.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, journey mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Demonstrated BPMN modeling experience and strong understanding of Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis to translate business needs into future-state workflows and requirements for the OneStream platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements and process models.
• Facilitate workshops, storyboarding, and requirements gathering to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain BPMN models aligned with goals and Federal requirements.
• Analyze current and future-state processes, identify improvements, and recommend platform-based solutions.
• Support VIPPS implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment with clear requirements and process docs.
• Ensure requirements and designs follow Agile and SaaS/configurable enterprise guidelines.
• Document findings, models, and requirements to project teams, contributing to process modeling methodologies.
• Ensure activities comply with Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Preferred: SaaS/configurable platforms and OneStream familiarity.
