Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA VIPPS initiative. The role focuses on translating business needs into future-state workflows and implementation-ready requirements for the OneStream platform, aligning with federal regulations and Agile practices.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with standard business hours Mon–Fri 8 AM–5 PM ET. A bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience are required, along with strong BPMN skills and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements development, and/or business process analysis and modeling, including Federal programs.
Experience in requirements elicitation and stakeholder workshops for federal environments.
Strong BPMN knowledge and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis to translate needs into future-state workflows for OneStream.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to elicit and document requirements.
Facilitate workshops and define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
Develop and maintain BPMN-based process models aligned with federal requirements.
Support VIPPS implementation through clear requirements and process documentation.
Ensure designs comply with Agile and SaaS/configurable platform capabilities.
Document findings for project teams and stakeholders.
Contribute to process modeling methodology improvements.
