Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA VIPPS program. You will translate business needs into future-state workflows and implementation-ready requirements for the OneStream platform, working remotely across the United States.

The role requires 7+ years of federal experience, BPMN and Agile expertise, and collaboration with stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules. Suitability/Public Trust clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of business analysis, requirements development, and/or business process modeling experience, including federal programs.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, journey mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and BPMN.
• Strong BPMN and Agile practices knowledge.
• Ability to design processes that leverage platform capabilities over custom development.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis to translate needs into future-state workflows and requirements for the OneStream platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate requirements and process models.
• Facilitate workshops and workshops to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain BPMN-based process models aligned with goals and federal requirements.
• Analyze current and future-state processes, identify improvements, and propose platform-based solutions.
• Support VIPPS implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment with clear requirements and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Agile practices and SaaS/configurable enterprise platforms.
• Document and communicate findings to project teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis and modeling methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
