Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA VIPPS project, a fully remote US role. You will translate business needs into future-state workflows for the OneStream platform and collaborate with stakeholders across agencies.

The position requires 7+ years in federal business analysis and BPMN modeling, with Agile experience and budgeting knowledge. Clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of business analysis, requirements development, and process modeling in Federal programs.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, workshops, journey mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and current- and future-state modeling.
• Strong BPMN knowledge and Agile practices; ability to design processes leveraging platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis to translate needs into future-state workflows for OneStream.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, storyboard sessions, and requirements gathering for user stories and rules.
• Develop and maintain BPMN business process models aligned with goals and federal requirements.
• Analyze current- and future-state processes, identify improvements, and recommend SaaS/configurable solutions.
• Support VIPPS implementation across integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment with clear requirements.
• Ensure designs meet Agile practices and governance; document findings and communicate to teams.
• Comply with Suitability/Public Trust clearance requirements.
