Job summary

Technovation is seeking a remote, U.S.-based Women Techmakers Community Director to drive the strategic evolution of Women Techmakers and alumna engagement through learning, networking, and events.

You will lead cross‑functional initiatives with Programs, Marketing, Operations, and Fundraising; manage a budget, ambassador network, and annual campaigns; and build scalable, values‑driven programs across time zones and languages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community management with people leadership.
• Nonprofit or global community experience is a strong plus.
• Experience building online communities where members create value for each other.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Women Techmakers and Technovation Alumna community strategy.
• Manage the community budget, including mini-grants, software costs, and contractor stipends.
• Oversee Ambassador program, including regional leads and compliance.
• Collaborate with Programs, Marketing, Operations, and Fundraising teams to align initiatives.
• Develop a focused calendar of annual engagements (e.g., International Women's Day, Ada Lovelace Campaign).
• Monitor adherence to the Code of Conduct and Community Guidelines.
