Job summary

New Energy Nexus seeks an IT Associate to support our global team’s day-to-day IT operations, with a focus on Eastern Hemisphere employees. You will provide hands‑on technical support, administer cloud-based productivity tools, and coordinate IT processes in a remote, international setting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, independent work, and clear communication to ensure secure, efficient IT services across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support, help desk, IT administration, or related role.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting macOS and Windows.
• Experience administering cloud-based productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Zoom, Dropbox).
• Working knowledge of SaaS administration (user provisioning, access management, licenses).
• Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding processes (account creation, access changes).
• Experience supporting end-user devices (setup, troubleshooting, lifecycle).
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain tech to non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across different countries/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary IT support contact with focus on Eastern Hemisphere employees.
• Provide timely troubleshooting for hardware, software, OS, and collaboration tools.
• Manage IT requests through established channels; document, track, resolve, and close issues.
• Communicate issue status and next steps clearly to employees.
• Identify recurring issues and propose practical solutions to improve IT operations.
• Administer and maintain Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Zoom, Dropbox, and other systems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, licenses, and configurations.
• Conduct regular access reviews to maintain secure system access.
• Support IT activities and improvements with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and implement improvements.
