Job summary
Nexis Builds is seeking an IT Support Specialist to remotely assist our team across the United States. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, configure cloud services, and support new hires with devices and access.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT support, strong remote-work skills, and experience with VPNs, cloud platforms, and MS 365/Google Workspace. This is a fully remote role with strong emphasis on security and user education.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support experience in a help desk or sysadmin role.
- Strong troubleshooting across Windows, Mac OS, networking and cloud apps.
- Experience with AnyDesk/TeamViewer/Remote Desktop for remote support.
- Familiarity with VPNs, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, and basic networking concepts.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical assistance via phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues and resolve them remotely.
- Document issues and resolutions to improve response times.
- Assist with cloud services, user access, and device setup for new hires.
- Monitor systems and address bottlenecks before they impact users.
- Educate teammates on security best practices and safe IT habits.
