Job summary

Ethos, a leading life insurance technology company, is seeking an HR Systems Manager to oversee Global HRIS operations with hands-on delivery and strategic leadership for Headcount365, BambooHR, and related platforms.

You will partner with HR and IT to translate business needs into scalable system solutions, drive data governance and security, and mentor HRIS analysts to scale our people systems globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HRIS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading complex HRIS initiatives.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, security concepts, and systems architecture.
• Experience with reporting, testing, security design, and process automation within HR tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional HRIS initiatives and enhancements.
• Own and influence the HRIS roadmap with senior stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Lead resolution of complex HRIS issues with long-term fixes.
• Provide technical leadership for HR programs (performance management, promotions, payroll year-end).
• Partner with IT and vendors for integrations, upgrades, and security.
• Maintain high-quality system documentation, standards and reporting.
• Mentor HRIS analysts, guiding design reviews and best practices.
