Job summary

Ethos, a leading life insurance technology company, seeks an HR Systems Manager to oversee global HRIS operations with hands-on and strategic responsibilities, focusing on Headcount365, BambooHR, and related modules to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.

You will partner with HR and IT leadership to align system strategy with priorities, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and guide HRIS analysts through best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HRIS experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading complex HRIS or enterprise system initiatives.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, security concepts, and systems architecture.
• Experience with reporting, testing, security design, and process automation within HR technology platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional HRIS initiatives and enhancements.
• Own HRIS roadmap with stakeholders to align system strategy with priorities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Resolve complex HRIS issues with root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise HR programs (e.g., performance, compliance).
• Partner with IT and vendors for integrations, upgrades, and security maintenance.
• Establish and maintain system documentation, standards, and reporting.
• Mentor HRIS analysts in best practices (non-managerial).
