Job summary

Ipas is seeking an Audience Insights and Engagement Advisor to strengthen engagement across communications channels, including digital platforms, email, campaigns, publications, events, and more.

The role uses audience insights, measurement, and performance data to inform strategies, with collaboration across Communications, Development, country teams, and other colleagues. Remote work is possible from multiple US states and international locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital technology or related field.
• Five years of experience in social/digital marketing and strategic communications in media, non-profit, or agency environment.
• Familiarity with social justice causes and initiatives.
• Fluency in multiple social media platform management tools and trends.
• Excellent grasp of social media, web and email metrics and best practices (Sprout, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft OfficeSuite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute audience engagement strategies grounded in insights and channel performance.
• Track audience behavior across channels including social, email, web, campaigns, events.
• Design and maintain reporting systems measuring reach, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
• Exercise decision-making authority for routine engagement and reporting within approved strategies and budgets.
• Guide country teams in audience-informed communications reflecting the Ipas brand.
• Collaborate with Communications and fundraising teams to design campaigns with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Implement and optimize engagement across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
• Engage with followers, supporters, partners, and stakeholders across platforms.
• Collaborate on audience segmentation, testing, and performance metrics to inform campaigns.
• Monitor trends and regulations affecting engagement and content strategy.
• Manage campaign logistics with timelines and budgets.
• Present metrics for CEO Dashboard and other reports.
• Contribute to building communications capacity of the Ipas network by gathering feedback and sharing insights.
