Job summary

Autism Speaks is seeking a Gift and Donor Operations Specialist to support the IT and Donor Operations team. This remote role can be performed anywhere in the United States and focuses on accurate gift processing, donor acknowledgments, and CRM data integrity to honor donor intent.

The Specialist collaborates with Development, Finance and other teams, handling complex gifts, pledges, reporting, and process improvements to ensure donor-centered operations and timely stewardship.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising or donor operations experience.
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems (e.g., StratusLIVE) is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex gift acceptance, processing, pledges, and donor-advised funds, ensuring accurate recording.
• Manage donor acknowledgments with timely, tax-compliant language and donor experience focus.
• Collaborate with Finance, Development, IT and other teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Support reporting, data quality, and CRM maintenance to enable fundraising goals.
• Provide backup coverage for Senior Coordinator, Donor Operations as needed.
