Job summary

Sanofi US is seeking an Area Business Manager for Gastroenterology to engage gastroenterologists and other key customers in support of the EoE indication. The ABM will drive clinically focused selling, collaboration with Medical Specialists, and revenue growth while complying with all policies.

Remote work arrangement in the United States with travel approximately 60–75% to cover three states: Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience or other relevant life science or clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information.
• Ability to travel to meetings, trainings, and programs as necessary. Additional travel is required within the assigned territory. Approximately 60 to 75 percent of travel time will be needed to cover three states: Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
• Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
• Ability to operate as a "team player" in cooperation with collaboration partners and internal colleagues to reach common goals.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Engage GI customers in territory with clinically focused messages to grow brand-share and revenue for EoE.
• Collaborate with Medical Specialists, MSLs, and Market Access to address customer needs and trends.
• Develop relationships with gastroenterology experts, staff, and patient groups.
• Drive opportunities and develop strategic plans to increase product utilization.
• Plan and execute local speaker programs and activities.
• Maximize budget to support strategy execution.
• Participate in industry congresses, meetings, and conferences.
• Own business opportunities with private equity and large groups.
• Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive customer value.
