Intermountain Health is seeking a Laboratory Genetic Counselor to support Select Health contract work and the Genetic Laboratory Stewardship Program. The role involves direct lab counseling for ordering providers and patients, with occasional patient education and testing option discussions.

Formación

• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for ABGC certification at time of hire with certification within one year.
• Licensed Genetic Counselor in Utah.

Responsabilidades

• Review genetic testing pre-authorization requests, appeals, and policies.
• Educate ordering providers on genetic testing options, billing, and management.
• Provide occasional patient education and counseling on genetic test options or results.
