Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking a Generator Service Technician to service generator sets and electrical equipment under the CISV Service Manager in the Charlotte, NC area. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning on diverse generator systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing diesel/gas engines, load bank testing, and supporting other technicians on large jobs. Travel and overnight stays may be required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Generac certification preferred and prior field service is a plus.
• Experience with diagnosing electrical/mechanical systems and generators.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on generators (5-5000kW) and parallel systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair ATS, bypass isolation, and conduct start-up/commissioning.
• Travel to job sites and document work with reports.
