Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking a Generator Service Technician to service and repair generator sets and electrical equipment in the Statesville, NC area. You will report to the CISV Service Manager and handle maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of units ranging from 5-5000 kW, including ATS and related systems.

The role requires strong communication, reliable driving, and the ability to work from home with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Generac certification preferred.
• US Air Force Electrical Power Production Specialist, US Navy Electrician’s Mate, or Generator/UPS field service tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on generator sets 5-5000kW.
• Troubleshoot ATS, bypass, and transfer switches.
• Load bank testing to verify operation and code compliance.
• Assist other technicians on large or complex jobs.
