Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking a Generator Service Technician to maintain and repair generator sets and electrical equipment in the Denver, NC area. The role includes troubleshooting ATS systems, startup/commissioning, and traveling to job sites with potential overnight stays.

Minimum HS Diploma required; an Associate degree in electrical/mechanical fields is preferred, with Generac certification and related field experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical field is advantageous.
• Strong communication and driving record required.
• Ability to travel for long distances and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair generator sets and parallel systems (5-5000 kW).
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches and related components.
• Perform startup/commissioning on new generators and systems.
• Assist other technicians on large multi-person jobs.
