Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking a Generator Service Technician to maintain and repair generator sets and related electrical equipment in the Raleigh market. This role reports to the CISV Service Manager and requires field travel including nights in hotels as needed.

You will troubleshoot engines, perform load bank tests, and support large multi-person projects. Strong driving record, communication skills, and ability to work remotely are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
• Military generator/UPS field service background preferred.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on generators (5-5000kW) and ATS systems.
• Troubleshoot diesel/gaseous engines, ignition/injection systems, and controls.
• Conduct load bank tests to verify operating conditions and code adherence.
• Assist other technicians on large or complex jobs and document work performed.
