Nelnet is seeking a Remote GenAI Platform Engineer to own the technical build and deployment of our Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform solutions on Google Cloud. You will translate backlog items into agentic assistants, RAG pipelines, and model integrations for higher education and SLED clients, in collaboration with data and infra teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI/agentic AI solutions in production.
• Direct experience with Gemini Enterprise Platform (Agent Builder, Model Garden, Workspace Studio) preferred; other GenAI platforms considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants and GenAI applications on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and grounding.
• Integrate multi-agent orchestration and A2A protocols.
