Nelnet Diversified Solutions, LLC seeks a skilled GenAI Platform Engineer to own the technical build and deployment of Nelnet’s GenAI solutions on Google Cloud. You will translate backlog items into working agentic solutions, manage RAG pipelines, and integrate model platforms with client systems.

The role focuses on delivering production-grade integrations, evaluating models, and ensuring security/compliance for higher education and SLED clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building GenAI/agentic solutions in production.
• Direct experience with Gemini Enterprise Platform or Vertex AI preferred.
• Experience with LLMs, prompting, fine-tuning, and grounding.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants and GenAI applications.
• Implement RAG pipelines and grounding.
• Integrate multi-agent orchestration and A2A protocols.
• Build live API and tool-calling integrations with client systems.
• Document solution architecture and maintain reusable playbooks.
