Job summary

Nelnet, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Engineer to own the technical build and deployment of GenAI solutions on Google Cloud, focusing on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Translate backlog items into working agentic solutions, develop RAG pipelines, and ensure delivery quality.

The role collaborates with Data and AgentOps teams to build scalable integrations with client systems, maintain architecture docs, and deliver production-grade deployments for higher education and related clients.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience building GenAI/agentic AI solutions in production.
Direct experience with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform or Vertex AI preferred.
Familiarity with RAG pipelines, grounding, and multi-agent patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants and GenAI apps on Gemini Enterprise Platform.
Implement RAG pipelines and grounding using platform capabilities.
Build API/tool-calling integrations with client systems (SIS/ERP).
