Nelnet is seeking a GenAI Platform Engineer to own the build and deployment of agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud, focusing on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. You will translate backlog items into working solutions with emphasis on RAG pipelines, model integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building GenAI/agentic AI solutions in production.
• Experience with Gemini Enterprise Platform or Vertex AI preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RAG pipelines and model integration.
• Familiarity with cloud data services and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants on Gemini Enterprise Platform.
• Implement RAG pipelines and grounding.
• Build live API and tool-calling integrations in client systems.
• Ensure release quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineer and AgentOps Engineer.
