Job summary

Adalah Justice Project is seeking a Development Associate to support fundraising and donor relations. The role reports to the Development Director and Co-Executive Director, focusing on copywriting, data management, and event coordination for the annual appeal and rapid-response campaigns.

This is a temporary, part-time position running mid-October through mid-February, with a 20-hour workweek and a pay range of $25–$30 per hour. Remote work with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations.
• Familiarity with the Palestine movement and fundraising strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to draft fundraising materials and manage multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and donor relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising appeals and donor outreach, including major donors.
• Draft and edit copy for campaigns and emails.
• Organize data, lists, and donor information.
• Schedule in-person visits and manage thank you notes.
• Coordinate events and rapid-response online fundraising opportunities.
• Maintain donor database accuracy and support team training.
