Job summary

LADACIN Network is seeking a part-time Development Associate to assist the Director of Development and Community Relations with fundraising campaigns, donor communications, marketing materials, and reporting. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in fundraising or nonprofit settings.

The position offers a flexible 25-hour workweek with opportunities to participate in community events and campaigns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in fundraising or nonprofit development is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with donor management/CRM systems is preferred.
• Experience with social media and graphic basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Development in daily operations and special projects.
• Assist with planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with staff to gather data, outcomes, and impact stories for marketing and reports.
• Assist with donor reporting and engagement tracking.
• Prepare donor acknowledgments and appeal letters.
• Assist with newsletters, annual reports, and email campaigns.
• Attend meetings and community events as needed.
• Coordinate and support in-person fundraising events.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
