Job summary

Sigma Technologies is recruiting a Functional Manager for a remote role with an initial two‑week in‑person orientation at our Perrysburg, OH headquarters. You will supervise Design Supervisors, drive performance management, and coordinate cross‑functional efforts to deliver complex engineering projects.

We value initiative, adaptability, and strong communication. Travel may be required; core hours align with typical ET business schedules.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or higher is acceptable but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, operations, and/or project management in power utility design.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience, with proven ability to lead, motivate and influence associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage Design Supervisors and other subordinate staff in day-to-day performance.
• Perform performance management including reviews, disciplinary actions and improvement plans.
• Move quickly and take initiative; adapt and steer team based on project scope.
• Communicate effectively across departments and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
