Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain features across a production healthcare platform, using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and RPC-based services. This US-based, remote-friendly contract-to-hire opportunity offers collaboration with product, QA, and design teams in an Agile environment.

You will contribute to AI/LLM-adjacent codebases, work with sensitive regulated data, and own end-to-end delivery with strong ownership and communication

Qualifications

• Authorized to work for any employer in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
• 4+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML-adjacent codebases, including LLM or agent systems.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive or regulated data (healthcare/fintech) preferred.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient with remote collaboration tools: GitHub, Slack, JIRA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Solid software engineering foundations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across the frontend using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and RPC-based architectures.
• Contribute to AI and LLM-adjacent codebases.
• Work with healthcare data in a regulated environment.
