AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a remote-friendly contract-to-hire role building and maintaining features on a healthcare platform. You will work with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and RPC-based services, contributing to AI/LLM-adjacent codebases while handling sensitive data.

The role requires 4+ years of full-stack experience, strong ownership, and excellent communication in a collaborative Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
• 4+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML-adjacent codebases, including LLM or agent systems.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive or regulated data (healthcare/fintech preferred).
• Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient with remote collaboration tools: GitHub, Slack, and JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full‑stack features frontend with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL, with RPC-based architectures.
• Contribute to AI/LLM-adjacent codebases and regulated data handling.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and design teams in an Agile environment.
