Job summary

Direct Agents is building a confidential generative AI product for the media industry and operates a fleet of AI-powered systems. We are hiring a full-time, remote Full-Stack Developer to maintain existing systems and help build the new product from day one, primarily inside Claude Code.

You will work on client dashboards, data pipelines, and AI integrations with Claude and GPT, using Python/FastAPI, Vue.js, and SQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven full-stack development experience with AI-assisted work.
Strong Python backend and JavaScript frontend skills, Vue preferred.
Familiarity with LLM APIs, vector search, and AI workflows.
Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile workflows.
Ability to own greenfield builds and maintain live client systems.
Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full-stack features across Python/FastAPI backends and JavaScript front ends.
Work inside Claude Code daily: steer agentic coding workflows and review AI-generated code.
Debug and harden data pipelines feeding dashboards and agents.
Integrate Claude and GPT APIs for generative features across systems.
Own deploys for live client sites and internal tools with monitoring and rollback.
Collaborate with data, strategy, and account teams to translate needs into software.
Document systems, prompts, and workflows for knowledge sharing.
Contribute to architecture decisions for the new confidential product.
