RethinkFirst in the United States is seeking an A/P Specialist to join the accounting and finance team. You will manage full-cycle accounts payable, enter invoices in Sage Intacct, match to PO, and ensure proper approvals.

This remote-first role supports employees and vendors, reconciles statements, assists with month-end close, and helps improve AP processes while maintaining internal controls.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with an ERP such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Manage full-cycle AP, monitor inbox, and enter invoices with correct GL coding.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs; obtain proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Reconcile AP GL accounts and assist month-end close.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate cards.
• Serve as the procurement tool point person, including workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
