Job summary

Velora is seeking a full-charge Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing Professional Services team. You will manage bookkeeping for multiple Medium customers, ensuring accurate financial records and high-quality client service, using AI-enabled tools to move faster and improve reliability.

You’ll own end-to-end processes, reconcile data, handle payroll and donations, maintain robust controls, and collaborate with clients to deliver timely insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years owning full-charge bookkeeping end-to-end
• Degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Strong fundamentals in accounting and nonprofit bookkeeping
• Deep experience in Aplos (preferred) or similar systems
• Strong Excel skills with templates, automation, and AI support

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle of bookkeeping for multiple Medium customers concurrently
• Use AI-native tools to streamline workflows and deliver faster, accurate results
• Maintain an average of 70% of working time spent on billable client work
• Understand client needs and provide feedback, proposing improvements
• Maintain a high customer NPS by proactive communication and quality service
• Adhere to processes to ensure robust financial controls
• Identify areas for process improvement and share knowledge with teammates
