Job summary

Velora, a remote-first company formed by Aplos, Raisely, and Keela, seeks a skilled Bookkeeper to service Moderate customers in our Professional Services team. You’ll own end-to-end bookkeeping, leverage AI tools to speed work, and ensure accurate financials while delivering outstanding client experience.

You will join a collaborative team dedicated to nonprofit software, with opportunities to work across Velora’s products and help organizations thrive.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years owning full-charge bookkeeping end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting and nonprofit bookkeeping; ensures books are clean and audit-ready.
• Deep experience with Aplos or similar systems; learns new workflows quickly and uses tooling to move faster.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle bookkeeping for multiple Medium customers, including data entry, reconciliations, payroll, donations, and periodic clean-up.
• Use AI-native tools to streamline workflows and deliver faster, more accurate results.
• Maintain ~70% of working time on billable client work.
• Provide feedback and propose solutions to improve information clarity.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and robust financial controls.
