Job summary

Velora is seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our fast-growing Professional Services team. As a full-charge bookkeeper for moderate complex Medium customers, you will ensure accuracy of financial records, manage data entry, reconciliations, and payroll, and deliver exceptional customer experience using AI-enabled tools.

This remote-first role supports US and Canadian clients; you will work autonomously, maintain robust financial controls, and collaborate with teammates to identify process

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years owning full-charge bookkeeping end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting and nonprofit bookkeeping.
• Experience with Aplos or similar systems; able to learn new workflows quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle of bookkeeping for multiple Medium customers concurrently.
• Use AI-native tools to streamline workflows and deliver faster results.
• Maintain ~70% of time on billable client work.
• Communicate proactively with customers and maintain strong relationships.
• Adhere to processes to ensure robust financial controls.
• Identify areas for process improvement and share knowledge with teammates.
