Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking Site Managers to join our fuels systems team. These roles may be worked remotely (with travel) with candidates living in CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, VA, WV, or Washington, DC.

Site Managers are responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and administering onsite work to complete projects on time, within budget and in accordance with the company’s quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in wetted fueling systems (piping, fueling upgrades, hydrant systems)
• Knowledge of construction practices, DoD standards (UFGS/UFC)/ASME/API related to POL systems
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general software tools
• Strong communication, interpersonal and management skills
• OSHA 30 hours training preferred, HAZWOPER preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Maintenance & Repair System (Prime) for all service orders and coordinates with Service Order Manager
• Maintains engagement with recurring maintenance activities, goals and objectives
• Reviews and provides oversight on service order scopes of work and ensures health and safety and quality plans are followed
• Serves as direct support on service orders between Pond, subcontractors and client teams
• Coordinates with maintenance manager to ensure schedules adhere to contract requirements
• Monitors contract budget and assists in funding requests to the client when needed
• Conducts weekly and bi-weekly meetings with subcontractors and PMs to discuss actions and resolve issues
• Works with project coordinators to prioritize service orders through each phase
• Keeps the client informed on high priority and high risk repairs and issues
• Maintains 3-week look ahead and participates in 2-week look ahead meetings with leadership
• Ensures all contract deliverables are submitted on time
• Oversees development of service orders and collaborates on work plans with Safety managers
• Reviews subcontractor scopes and pricing for accuracy
• Mentors and develops subordinate staff
