Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking Site Managers to join the growing fuels systems team. Positions may be worked remotely (with travel) with requirement of candidates living in MD, CT, DE, ME, MA, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, VA, WV or DC.

Site Managers coordinate onsite work to meet schedule, budget, and safety standards, build strong client relationships, and drive profitable projects while mentoring staff and ensuring quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in wetted fueling system (piping, mechanical work, upgrades, hydrant systems, tank work, coatings, inspections).
• Knowledge of construction practices, UFGS/UFC, ASME codes, API, and NA/international standards for POL systems.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance or favorable BI.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• OSHA 30 hours training preferred; HAZWOPER training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Maintenance & Repair System (Prime) for all service orders and coordinates with Service Order Manager.
• Engages with recurring maintenance activities, goals, and objectives.
• Reviews scopes of work and ensures health and safety and quality plans are developed and followed.
• Serves as direct support on service orders between Pond, subcontractors, Huntsville Corp of Engineers and Service Control Points.
• Coordinates with the recurring maintenance manager to adhere to schedules and contract requirements.
• Conducts weekly subcontractor meetings and bi-weekly PM meetings to address actions and issues.
• Works with project coordinators to prioritize service orders efficiently.
• Keeps the client informed on high priority and high risk repairs and pending issues.
• Maintains 3-week look ahead schedule and participates in 2-week look ahead meetings.
• Ensures all contract deliverables are submitted on time; attends RM events as applicable.
• Oversees development of service orders and collaborates on high risk/complex orders.
• Reviews subcontractor scopes and pricing for service orders; uses UFGS/UFC/EM-385 guidance daily.
• Mentors and develops subordinate staff.
