Job summary

Grow Financial FCU is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud cases and contribute to prevention initiatives. You will collaborate with technical partners to interpret system outputs and identify fraud patterns, reviewing predictive reports daily and taking action on accounts.

Responsibilities also include participating in fraud-related projects and educating members and employees on fraud topics.

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12-months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
• Primarily work from home setting.
• Travel to other branches or locations required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types.
• Contribute to fraud prevention initiatives and collaboration with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Daily review of predictive reports and taking appropriate actions on accounts.
• Participation in Fraud Team area-related projects and training/education of credit union members and employees on fraud related topics.
