Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union seeks a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud cases and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives. This role collaborates with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns, emphasizing daily review of predictive reports and timely actions on accounts.

The position is primarily work-from-home with travel to other branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ~12 months experience as Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial-related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Maintains strong written and verbal communication, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Primarily work from home setting; travel to other branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives.
• Review predictive reports daily and take appropriate actions on accounts.
• Participate in Fraud Team area-related projects and provide training/education on fraud-related topics to credit union members and employees.
