Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is hiring a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud cases and support fraud prevention initiatives. This role collaborates with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns while reviewing predictive reports daily.

The position emphasizes strong analytical judgment, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office in a primarily work-from-home setting, with some travel to branches as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Exercises mature judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives.
• Bridge operational execution with emerging fraud trends and support collaboration with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Daily review of predictive reports and taking appropriate actions on accounts.
• Participate in fraud team projects and educate members and employees on fraud topics.
