Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage diverse fraud case types and help advance fraud prevention efforts. The role bridges day‑to‑day operations with evolving fraud trends and works with technical partners to interpret system outputs and detect patterns.

You will review predictive reports daily, take appropriate actions on accounts, and contribute to fraud team projects while educating members and colleagues on fraud topics.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12‑months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Exercises mature judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in‑office environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives.
• Daily review of predictive reports and taking appropriate actions on accounts.
• Collaborate with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Participation in Fraud Team area‑related projects and training/education of credit union members and employees on fraud related topics.
