Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud cases and contribute to prevention efforts. The role blends operational tasks with emerging fraud trends and collaboration with technical partners to interpret system outputs.

This position primarily works from home, with occasional travel to branches as needed. Strong communication, MS Office proficiency and a high school diploma are required to join our remote-friendly team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ~12 months experience as Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
• Primarily work from home setting; Travel to other branches or locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types.
• Review predictive reports daily and take appropriate actions on accounts.
• Collaborate with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Participate in Fraud Team area-related projects and training/education of members and employees on fraud related topics.
