Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking an energetic, highly motivated Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations and protect the bank from fraud risk.

The role backs the Fraud Analytics and Loss Prevention Manager and focuses on investigations, case management, and staff development in a fast-paced environment. The position supports remote work options and involves collaboration with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT to mitigate emerging fraud threats and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; banking/ fraud-related education may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years in fraud, financial crimes, loss prevention, risk management, or related banking experience; leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of common fraud schemes affecting financial institutions (check, ACH, wire, account takeover, etc.).
• Experience managing complex investigations and incident response; familiarity with BSA/AML.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud investigations, alerts, referrals, and incidents with timely resolution and proper documentation.
• Prioritize team workloads based on risk exposure and potential loss.
• Review complex cases and provide investigative guidance; act as escalation point for significant events.
• Coordinate response efforts, analyze trends, and recommend control improvements.
