Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking an energetic Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day fraud prevention, detection, investigation, recovery, and loss mitigation efforts.

This role serves as a key operational leader within the Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention function and backs up the Manager. The position requires experience in investigating fraud, coordinating response to incidents, and working across Operations, Risk, and Compliance, with strong communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years in fraud, financial crimes, loss prevention, or risk management with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of common fraud schemes affecting financial institutions (check, ACH, wire, identity theft, etc.).
• Experience managing complex investigations and responding to active fraud events.
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML and interaction with suspicious activity reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud investigations, alerts, referrals, and incidents with timely resolution.
• Prioritize workloads based on risk exposure, customer impact, and potential loss.
• Review complex cases and escalate significant events and decisions.
• Coordinate fraud response, analyze trends and losses, and suggest control improvements.
• Lead and develop Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention staff; support staffing and performance management.
