Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking an energetic Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations of fraud prevention, detection, and investigations.

This role serves as a key operational leader and supports the Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Manager, overseeing case management and staff development. The position requires strong knowledge of fraud schemes, BSA/AML concepts, and the ability to coordinate responses across Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of fraud, financial crimes, or related banking experience.
• Knowledge of fraud schemes affecting financial institutions.
• Experience leading complex investigations and investigations management.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML requirements and SAR relationships.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fraud detection systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud investigations, alerts, referrals, ensuring timely resolution and loss mitigation.
• Prioritize team workloads based on risk and service levels.
• Review complex cases and provide investigative guidance.
• Coordinate fraud response, analyze trends, and propose controls.
• Lead and develop staff and manage performance.
• Maintain policies and detection strategies for fraud risk management.
• Partner with lines of business to strengthen prevention and support audits.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
