Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking an energetic Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager. This full-time role leads investigations, prioritizes workloads, mentors staff, and coordinates responses to major fraud events.

The position supports a remote work option and requires strong fraud knowledge, leadership, and regulatory awareness. Responsibilities include supervising investigations, risk assessment, data analysis, and continuous improvement of controls and procedures within the Fraud

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in fraud, financial crimes, loss prevention, or related banking experience, with leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of common fraud schemes affecting financial institutions (check/ACH/wire, account takeover).
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML and SAR processes; ability to respond to active fraud events.
• Ability to make sound risk-based decisions in time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud investigations, alerts, referrals, and incidents with timely resolution.
• Prioritize team workload by risk exposure, customer impact, and potential loss.
• Provide guidance on complex cases and act as escalation point for major events.
• Coordinate response efforts, analyze trends, and propose control improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention staff.
• Maintain policies, procedures, controls, and reporting standards.
