Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of fraud prevention and investigations.

This role supports the Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Manager and provides direct oversight of investigations and case management. The position emphasizes coordinating response to significant fraud events, analyzing trends, and developing team capabilities, with potential for remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional banking or fraud certifications are a plus.
• At least 5 years in fraud, financial crimes, or loss prevention with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML, deposit operations, and fraud schemes.
• Ability to make risk-based decisions in time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud investigations, alerts, referrals, and incidents with timely resolution.
• Prioritize and manage team workloads based on risk exposure and potential loss.
• Provide guidance on complex cases and escalate significant fraud events.
• Coordinate response efforts, analyze trends, and suggest control improvements.
• Coach and develop staff and manage performance and staffing.
• Maintain policies and standards for fraud risk management.
• Collaborate with business lines and regulators as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry laws and company procedures.
