Job summary

Sunflower Bank N.A. is seeking a Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Manager to lead the bank's fraud program, oversee monitoring, investigations, and SAR filings, and partner with senior management on risk strategy.

The role emphasizes reducing losses through controls, data analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration. The position may be fully remote or hybrid, with a strong emphasis on regulatory knowledge and leadership in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Finance, Business Admin, Accounting, Risk Management or related field (or 10+ years fraud exp).
• 5+ years of management or leadership experience in bank fraud prevention/related function.
• Certifications such as CFE, ACAMS, or CAFP are preferred.
• Experience with fraud investigations, reviewing suspicious activity, and identifying fraud trends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud monitoring activities, alert review processes, case investigations, and resolution efforts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain fraud controls and strategies to reduce exposure and losses.
• Analyze fraud data, loss trends, and threats to identify risks and support decisions.
• Manage recovery strategies to maximize recoveries and reduce losses.
• Collaborate with teams to identify vulnerabilities and enhance fraud detection and prevention.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies; SAR reporting when warranted.
• Promote fraud awareness through training and education for staff.
