Job summary

Basic American Foods is seeking a Business Development Manager for Field Sales. This fully remote position focuses on delivering profitable sales growth in foodservice by enhancing operator engagement and developing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of business development sales experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic work environment with frequent travel. Competitive compensation includes medical, dental, and vision plans, alongside a sales incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of business development sales experience, preferably in food or foodservice sales.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales volume, revenue, and contribution-to-overhead targets.
• Develop a business plan and execute sales calls against pipeline opportunities.
• Build and expand relationships with operator decision-makers.
