Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for its Foodology team. You will build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts and use consultative selling at all levels to strengthen Univar’s position.

The role includes prospecting for new business, retaining customers, providing technical support, and coordinating pricing and quotations. Travel within the assigned territory is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in the Food Ingredients industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Strong business savvy and consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase value.
• Maintain an updated view of your sales pipeline and forecast.
• Set pricing and quotations; coordinate with local branches as needed.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety for yourself and colleagues.
