Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for the Foodology team to build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts and grow business within the territory. You will focus on consultative selling, customer retention, and coordinating with local branches to optimize pricing and inventory.

This home-based role covers NY, CT, MA, VT, RI and ME, with a preference for the tri-state border region. Eligible for incentive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in the Food Ingredients industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; technical background helpful.
• Ability to nurture a broad network and travel to territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow accounts through consultative selling and value-based relationships.
• Prospect for new business and expand territory footprint.
• Retain customers and enhance satisfaction with service levels.
• Provide technical support and consultative services.
• Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and coordinate quotations.
• Collaborate with local teams to manage inventory and pricing.
• Travel within assigned territory as needed.
