Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Planning & Development Manager to join our team remotely in Florida. You will supervise complex projects across mixed-use, residential, commercial, and institutional developments for public and private clients, aiding in strategic planning and client development.

You will coordinate with Bowman teams nationwide, prepare presentations and reports, and represent clients at local and regional meetings. AICP/ALA preferred; strong communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field.
• 5+ years of planning or related experience in land development/public policy.
• AICP or ALA certification and licensed raised preferred; proficiency in planning/engineering tools like Adobe Suite, SketchUp or ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise complex, mixed-use development planning projects.
• Assist with strategic planning and client pre-development activities.
• Represent Bowman on councils, boards and official committees.
• Coordinate with Bowman staff and other offices nationwide.
• Prepare reports, graphics and presentations for public meetings and clients.
