Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Planning & Development Manager to join our team remotely from Florida. You will supervise advanced planning and development projects for public and private clients, coordinate with Bowman teams, and help grow our regional presence.

Responsibilities include managing project planning, analyzing data, presenting findings at meetings, and supporting business development and client relations. AICP/ALA and a strong planning background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field.
• 5+ years of planning or land development experience.
• AICP or ALA certification preferred; licensed professional.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of zoning, urban planning and local government.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of project-related planning issues.
• Perform complex planning projects, research and analysis.
• Review reports and data for documentation and accountability.
• Prepare graphics for public meetings and presentations.
• Represent clients at planning-related meetings with boards and officials.
• Assist with marketing and business development.
• Coordinate with Bowman staff and other regions to expand presence.
• Attend evening/weekend meetings.
